ps. good if some answered on this thread
(i find it important as i said to be potent to discus some things on programming real content in c not only
dwelling in language foreer (explained why i think it is good and important before)
i know it is hard to focus many people on that kind of content creative topics, but really that could be good for this group
(not if someone wnat experiment with perpixel easy drawing he may use my green.fire.dll library (which is only 32 bit so he only yet need windows and 32 bit compiler to do so)
empty ap yu could make that way over it
void RunFrame(int advance)
{
}
void ProcessMouseMove(int x, int y)
{
}
void ProcessKeyDown(int key)
{
}
void OnResize()
{
}
int main(void)
{
RegisterMouseMove( ProcessMouseMove );
RegisterKeyDown( ProcessKeyDown );
RegisterOnResize( OnResize );
RegisterRunFrame( RunFrame );
SetSleepValue(12);
SetupWindow2(" apromptu color tester ", 4, 5, 567, 443 );
return 0;
}
i think it even is better than things as sfml, java, sdl (i dont remember them exactly hovever) but my design here is nice i think

I've modified it today to accept Prof Fir style color words AND to accept HSV values based on this subthread. https://qaz.wtf/color/ https://qaz.wtf/color/?color=ben&space=hsv-word https://qaz.wtf/color/?color=fir&space=rgb-word ObCompLangC: I'm using the integer HSV to RGB conversion from here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3018313/algorithm-to-convert-rgb-to-hsv-and-hsv-to-rgb-in-range-0-255-for-both It's the Leszek Szary (Feb 6 '13 at 15:46) answer, currently shown second. However, if I recall correctly, modern CSS supports HSV colours directly (not that you'd want to rely on browser support for them). -- Ben.

I'm not using CSS for the color block. I'm generating an actual PNG which can be downloaded and used elsewhere. Behind the scenes it creates a 1x1 PPM and then pipes that through pnmscale and pnmtopng. The libnetpbm color picker doesn't speak HSV. Elijah ------ not actually generating a full sized PPM is pure laziness
