Heck, and that sin need not even be harming anyone if I understand you correctly, it can just be not accepting one particular view as you harm nobody. If a deity really is that petty and immoral I most certainly would not want to worship him! It is part of why I think the Bible is better understood as having been written by an unreliable narrator and his naïve followers.
