My personal guesstimate:

Sep 2013	4.6.4
early 2014	1st beta-testing version of 5
Mar 2014	4.6.5
spring 2014	2nd beta-testing version of 5
Sep 2014	5.0

All dates subject to change and mischance.
In particular, if the initial beta testing of 5 goes well the
release of 5.0 might be pushed up to be in parallel to the last
release in the 4.6 series. Since the whole point of bumping the
major version number is that there will not be 100% backward
compatibility, I think it is reasonable to have a "final" version 4
release even if overlaps the timing on first release of 5.

In any event, this would be a really good time to speak up about any
major changes you would like to see considered for version 5.
