You don't say which version of FileMaker you're using.

I have not used MySQL, but there are a few possibilities that I can
think of for it not working:

    - the FileMaker runtime (.exe) might not include MySQL
connectivity. Runtime applications do have some
limitations (for example, not networkable and only
      one user)

    - you may need to copy some extra files (system files
or plug-ins) as well as the FileMaker runtime (.exe)
      and data files

    - the file path link to the MySQL database might be
set for one computer and needs to be changed to work
      on another computer

Now we is not something clear. Filemaker allows the use of MySQL
connection while doing the project, but when you finish a project, and
you will make (. Exe) file that is not implemented, will introduce not
allow. What purpose, then the connection to the project if it is what
you did and you can not use. I wonder whether there is any possibility
to solve it and how. Do you have somewhere instructions for it to be
made (. Exe) file and the connection to the MySQL database. If not then
complains effort as I struggled to make myself a project for their
requirements. Thanks for your help!

I have not used MySQL with a FileMaker database, so I don't know how it
works. Those were only three different possible suggestions for the
problem.

The runtime (.exe) limitation may or may not be the problem. The
runtime version of FileMaker Pro is purpsely restricted in some ways
(no design functions, no network functions), otherwise big companies
could buy one copy of FilaMaker Pro and create runtime applciations
used by hundreds of people and the FileMaker Pro software itself would
have to be a LOT more expensive.
