To see why German is harder to learn than English, here how the table
would look like, if English had four cases and more than one gender:
M F N P
Nom the the the the
Gen the the the the
Dat the the the the
Acc the the the the
But English doesn't have this, it's always "the" or "a" (or "an" if a
vowel is the first letter of the noun).
