I'm a little insecure, what you try to tell.

I personally think, that religious groups have the right to define, what 
they believe.

(Another right is that of a person to chose the believe.)

So, yes, Jews may call their group 'chosen' and they could be rightfully 
proud about famous members.

This is insofar ok.

I would actually like to make a few proposals for what they could 
eventually correct in their believe-system, but would not do that.

About political system we have other rules and people and parties may 
not do  whatever comes to their mind.

About the statement of Mrs. Meir I like to criticise this collectivistic 
undertone, since that does remind me too much about socialism. And 
people -especially in Germany- are particularly happy, that this 
movement has deceased.
