Anyone know how to make the width of those little vertical stripes in block quotes wider?

Quote Colours add-on knows, but I can't figure out where (presumably
somewhere in about:config) it stores the setting ...

It can be done in the config-editor of Tbird itself.
mailnews.wrapplength.
Mine's set at 72, probably the default.

Good luck; oh, and take care with your editing.

I doubt that's the related to the graphical quoting border that Alan
wants to make alter?

For testing, I've set my border width to "thick" and the style to
"dotted", the cyan and yellow colours are mine, chosen to stand-out from
a dark background.

But I can't see anything that gets updated within prefs.js
or extension-settings.json
