It's not polite to answer a question with a question.

And it seemed that you don't understand how Firefox receive delta
updates. You were NOT talking about Firefox delta update, but
downloading of files including Firefox's offline installer.

Users of Firefox does NOT check hashes. They just hit the Updaste button
within Firefox and trust the delta update process.

Did you read the subject? Do you know what delta update means?

You are the one suggesting *not* using delta upgrades (where TB/FF will
check the authenticity for you)

Instead you would download the full installer each time ... I was asking
if you bother to check the hashes on that download or whether you just
blindly install it and hope it's not been intercepted by $ADVERSARY

Often the download from OFFICIAL SERRVER is usually okay.I dunno why.

Why nobody intercepts my downloads and swap them with something bad and
witchy? :)

BTW, can a government (e.g. Hong Kong) or a country fake a Facebook
website? Is it easy and funny to do it?

Because you're *very* unimportant and dull regarding that action.

As long as it doesn't matter, like toys. Are we all toys of God? Well... :)

BTW, why should I be important? Why can't I be dull? We are just toys of
God. :)

People can tolerate you being dull, but recently you're getting somewhat
tedious ... just saying ...

(For US listeners: a zebra crossing is UK for what you call a crosswalk.)

We have zebra crossings. The term describes a specific method of
painting the crosswalk on the street. If the crosswalk is painted as
parallel lines, that is not a zebra crossing.

A city in Bew Jersey erected them all over the place and eliminated
accidents with pedestrians.

Zebra crossings, in and of themselves, are not effective.

In UK, since I think about the 1970s, they've also had long zig-zags
painted along the road edges for several car lengths either side of the
actual crossing, which are no-parking zones.

Not sure what you mean by parallel lines. To me, a zebra crossing is
broad alternating black and white stripes (I'm not sure they always
bother with the black if the road surface is dark enough), at right
angles to the direction of walking - the most well-known example being
the cover of the Beatles' Abbey Road album. (JAIF: they renamed the
recording studio the Abbey Road studio after the success of that album;
it had previously been just the EMI recording studios _in_ Abbey Road.)
I'd not come across the term crosswalk until captchas became common: I
just guessed, from looking at them, that that's what a crosswalk is.
(The pictures in captchas are always of American subjects.)
