  "Search bar half-covering the taskbar"!? You can have only the Search
icon, or the icon with a label or completely hide it, which would be the
logical thing to do, as you use Open-Shell Menu, which has its own
search box. But doing that, you'd have no cause to whinge.  Bummer that.
