I know what they're thinking. Advertising false sense of security.

First of all, Tuta Mail _does not_ use standard email encryption - which is
PGP.

Second, email encryption is _optional_, and there's no email service that I
know (feel free to point me out) which actually provide built-in PGP.

Third, nothing can decrypt an encrypted data if it doesn't support
encryption.

So, sure. Tuta encrypt emails. But outgoing emails must be decrypted before
they're sent to the recipient email servers - which aren't _always_ and
likely are not Tuta Mail. And imcoming emails before they're received on
Tuta Mail, aren't _always_ and likely are not Tuta Mail - thus not
encrypted.

Who actually generate the encryption key in the first place? It's not you.
It's the email server. Also be aware of who keep the encryption key.

Who actually encrypt the data in the first place? It's not you. It's the
email server. Also be aware that, to encrypt a data, requires an encryption
key.

So don't take everything as is, as the truth. Validate them yourself.
Including everything mentioned above.

Doesn't Proton Mail do that?

You do not understand the concept of mail encryption/decryption by OpenPGP.

No merci for outlook.com-users as well.

No sober person would ever use a third party to encrypt sensitive mails.
Neither Tuta nor Proton.

Mostly true. But better yet is to just block "Fritz Wuehler".
It's sleazy, nonsense spam. Do you really want to debate spam?

Dont' try to mimick a net cop.
Are your mails still not end-to-end encrypted?

Did someone impersonate this lorenze spammer?

This lorenze spammer is everyday always trying to be a net cop on here.

He is always telling you that you can only say what he wants you to say.

Yes. I already have him blocked. :) For years I never blocked
anyone on Usenet, but over time we've accumulated a number
of people who just like to insult others, without offering anything
useful.

I don't remember who, but it is probably this chap, that posts in Usenet
trying to promote that Tuta thing, for years.

That said, I am interested in an analysis that explains why this Tuta is
not that good. It negates what the spammer tries to achieve ;-)
