Note, not "evidence of _a_ god or gods", but specifically "of God". So
any evidence of, oh, a presumably legitimate miracle happening would
support the conclusion "God"... because no other explanations, or even
other entities, are allowed in the race.

Yeah, good start there. Not like painting the target around the arrow,
or anything.

No, existence is evidence of existence. To be evidence of gods, there
would have to also be reason to conclude gods a) at least possibly exist,
b) have some means of influencing existence in some manner, and c) that
this influence is discernible. None of these have been established.

An eye is not complex at all. The simplest eyes are literally a patch of
a few cells which respond to changes in light. As much be amazed by the
faculty of touch, or ability to sense heat.

Once the simplest eye is developed, any improvement, however slight, is a
path to a modern eye.

Well over 50% of the surface of the planet is reasonably inhospitable;
the rest of the universe, by and large, makes these places look like
luxury resorts. Or, in other words, the notion the universe is "life-
friendly" is either completely ignorant of reality, batshit insane, or
both.

I think we can stop there; once the discussion has become about such
outlandishly bizarre, contra-reality notions, there's no point
continuing. If the rest of the post had something actually sensible to
say, please feel free to repost that part.
