Definitely. However I have an assortment of Pico Ws, Pico 2 Ws, Arduino 
Unos, and a couple of Arduino Nano 33 Sense BLEs and tend to mix, match, 
and compare. To further complicate matters I sometimes use Arduino Core on 
the Picos, MicroPython, CircuitPython, and the RPi C SDK. 

one justification for a Pico W is I could put up a web interface with the 
temperature and humidity data.

Do I do anything worthwhile with all the hardware? Sadly, no. There are a 
lot of projects I *could* do but then I ask myself why? Well there is the 
RPi 3+ robot dog I can use to annoy the cat. The cat really doesn't want 
to shake hands even though the dog is wagging his tail in a friendly 
matter. 

The cat doesn't think much of quadrocopters or little things on wheels 
either.
