Expect systems to be somewhat improved/updated for awhile. But they're not mainstream/commercial like tablets and laptops and desktops and phones. Hell, Arduino's still have their (embedded) place. Perfect for a certain range of applications. BUT, don't expect huge constant revisions/updates. Built over a dozen - like hand-soldered - units around Arduinos + proto boards. Great for low/solar-power field applications. Note, always use the SEEED solar LiPo chargers ... the rest deliver uneven, dangerous, voltages in high sun. Had to use high-watt zeners to reg for the other units - and they got tape-melting HOT even with 10w panels, really. Not good.
