They have the same production life promise for the RPi Zero which uses the same SoC and is significantly cheaper than the RPi Zero 2, so there's a better argument for people buying those in my opinion. But RPi might not have much sway with the Linux kernel devs since they've always pushed their own fork of it anyway. Maybe a distro based on the last CIP SLTS kernel with 32bit support would buy the 32bit Pis some more years of security updates after upstream Linux abandons them?
