That is a pig ignorant lie. Most do in fact get 50/25 or better
synch rates on FTTN and choose to only pay for a 25/5 service.

Everyone on FTTP, FTTB and HFC get much better than 50/25
and many of them choose to only pay for a 25/5 service with
Telstra and Optarse even tho they can have a 100/40 service
with MyRepublic and TPG etc for the same price.
