Lots and lots of people dl linux .iso/s. Lots and lots of people have
spent lots and lots of TIME dl/ing linux iso/s. During the time spent
dl/ing those lots and lots of .iso/s, the issue of mirrors and torrents
as a solution to the problem is readily apparent, depending on the distro.

Some distros don't have so many different ways to dl as Mint does.

Lots and lots of mint dl/ers. Some may use mirrors and not be familiar
with the term.

> How many people know what a slow (let alone slowest) mirror is ???

Lots and lots of people with the experience of dl/ing 'a number' of
linux particularly Mint .iso/s.

Mint's site has made the use of mirrors and torrents readily available.

That is a 'good' mirror.

That is also a good mirror.

Your experience supports my argument in a way. You know mirrors (just
not the word apparently); you just don't do torrents. You don't have to
'buy' the torrent part of my argument to buy the mirror part.
