If anybody has had any luck getting a clean, polished, good looking load 
of KDE on MX-15, I'm all ears. I can get it loaded up and working, but 
it's got all kinds of appearance/UI problems. No single one is a deal 
breaker, but the total accumulation is enough to make it unsatisfactory 
to me.

I've been insistent that my next default desktop environment has to be 
KDE, as it has been for going on ten years. If I can't get a 
satisfactory KDE implementation on MX, I'm not sure what I'll end up 
doing. Going with the default Xfce is a possibility, but so is Mint KDE.

That said, the default Xfce load that's running on my laptop is *sweet*. 
For my use on that platform, I couldn't ask for anything better.
