I did it again, rofl, (britney spears flashback); this time, with my 
quad core laptop running my reliable Linux Mint 17.3 KDE. I know, 
it's old, technically and is no longer supported, and I have had 
trouble with some application issues with later versions, but that's 
okay, it's still a great linux distro that has served me well. I do 
intend to replace it with MXLinux at some point in the near future 
though. I'm really enjoying MXLinux. I started using it when mint 
officially announced dropping their KDE spin. it's GUI is child like 
by comparison to KDE, and I've had to make some adjustments to suit 
me with the right click menu, but other than that,it's great.

I don't recall which distro you use yourself...?
