I used to use Cinnamon. Have moved to MATE. That is when I use Linux -- 
which is not often these days.

OK, at some point I need to try the new GNOME. I used to like it.

It tosses in every option under the sun -- which has benefits -- but 
they are not coordinated. To me it is an utter mess, or was when I last 
used it.
