But I am sure there are gaps and there are possibilities for more delegated teams. There are many teams which function already without delegation, but would benefit from more powers through delegation and there are some areas entirely ignored where a delegated teams can do a good work. I have mentioned about delegating DPL helpers team and diversity team. > What are the benefits of delegation? Delegation helps to decentralize the powers, formalize the activities, make independent decisions wherever suitable and represent Debian to the outside world formally. The powers delegated would depend on the team being delegated. The powers delegated would be to ensure that the team can be able to do its regular activities with minimum input from outside while ensuring that these powers does not make the team autocratic. With respect to the Diversity team, the delegation would be to manage all the amount spent for diversity activities and ensure that the spending is justified, streamline all the diversity related activities and facilitate more diversity related work etc. > > > Thank you for standing! >
