If the Armini doesn't even see a USB printer, the next thing to try is
the USBinfo app, freely available from X-Ample Technology.  This shows
all USB devices; is the printer among them?

Perhaps you can try other USB devices in the sockets, to see if the
sockets work.

If you have any other computer, you can connect the printer to that
and see if the other computer recognises it.
