If you do a standard install, HardDisc4 is a folder
alongside the VRPC executable. The program knows where to
find it because its location is specified in the relevant
Model.cfg file inside the Models folder. If you then cut
and paste your installation to C:\Apps\Emulators (or
wherever) you need to update the location in Model.cfg. For
my installation it is:

mount0 = "HardDisc4 'G:\ARM7500\HardDisc4'
bootopt=2,showext"

There is a space between HardDisc4' and bootopt=2 which
causes wrapping in this e-mail but it should be on one line
in the file.

In my case, it's not just a partition it's a totally
different drive - an SSD. If you haven't got a separate
partition and you need to re-install Windows, you just have
to make sure you have a backup that you can copy back when
Windows is working again.
