Nein, als „Ultraschall“ gelten alle Schallwellen mit Frequenzen von 20 kHz 
(obere Grenze der menschlichen Wahrnehmung) bis 10 GHz.

Und mit der Dichte der Luft hat das nichts zu tun, es ist einfach eine 
Definition: Ultraschall gibt es z. B. auch im Wasser, wie zum Beispiel 
Brillenträger, Optiker und Delphine wissen.
