I do something very similar, although I don't actually even put the
obey file in boot at all. This means I always have a relatively clean
boot, although I do normally run the Iyonix 24/7. It sits on the
pinboard, and one double click runs the apps I need. Can be extended
by having obey files for different reasons, eg programming, office
work, etc.
