When you open the e-mail, there is no text, just an apparent
HTML attachment. When you open this in NetSurf or whatever
you just see rows and rows of apparently random letters,
which is the encoded version of the HTML e-mail.

Sent out usually by commercial undertaking. Most of mine
come from P+O Ferries, but I believe that the last time they
were discussed here the offending e-mail came from the BBC.
