... er, DRM... since Atari has used both Tages and Securom in their
recent PC releases. All Atari retail releases over at least the past 5
years have had either check-disk DRM or on-line authentication DRM of
various flavors.

I am glad that you are so very willing to be the volunteer
guinea-pig....

Please do check-in on the 'action' and 'rpg'  newsgroups under a new
thread "DRM status in retail-boxed versions of Witcher2"  when you
have definite information. 

 If  DRM is present on your retail copy but is 'check-disk' only with
ZERO on-line authentication, then I would be quite happy to purchase
the same version as you.
