No, that is not the case. The RISC OS PostScript driver never makes a 
bitmap out of anything that is not already a bitmap. It can produce 
huge output for some bitmaps though. If that was the cause of the 
problem, the PostScript 3 driver would help. However, the huge size 
could also be caused by the way !PDF interprets the PDF file. Of 
course, without the actual file, this is all speculation.
