Doesn't seem to help here, alas - pages still tend to hang up at about
90% of the progress bar (which, in the case of the ones that don't then
crash and cause Iris to quit the iconbar, seems to be the mandatory 'Do
you consent to storing cookies on your computer?' page), and at least
50% of them seem simply to crash the app.

I just tried to load imdb.com from the Iris start page link, twice, and
both times it spent a long time trying to load what I think were large
chunks of video preview that it wouldn't be able to play in any case,
then crashed before I could finish typing in the name of the film I
wanted to find.  It was probably a mistake to try typing into the
search box before the page had finished rendering, as the letters only
appear at a rate of about 1cps, but the page didn't appear to *be*
likely to finish rendering any time soon....
