Not Einstein was surpressed, of course, but Heinrich Hertz, Herman
Minkowski and Henry Poincaré.

All of them had written works, which were far better in almost the same
realm.

It would make perfect sense to me, to surpress unwanted scientific
development by creating something almost true.

But Einstein's text was not 'almost true', but FULL of errors of all sorts.

In addition to the creation of crap the author was also 'deified' and
defended by his super-hero-status.

It is till this present day 'heresie' and 'anti-semitic' to dare to
criticise Einstein and distrust any of his words.

(as I can ashure you from my own experience!)

This scheme makes perfect sense to me, but only if you like to divert
science from something unwanted, that you don't want to become known to
the general public.

You could also look at Einstein's behaviour in his personal life and how
he presented himself to the public.

He had actually adverse attitudes towards his environment in many ways,
like lack of haircut or socks, like an explicitly disorderly desktop and
like doing absolutely nothing in his professional work in Princton.

He actually stretched out his thoung on one of his portraits.

In a ways he was creating the image, I would call 'nutty professor' and
was quite good at that.

But that is not how science works and sober and oderly habits are
actually better behaviour in a job like a professor.

No. The video said, that a guy name Sarpi, who had the power to install
the Pope and created the order of the Jesuits, regarded Gallileo as one
of his (personal) agents.

According to the film the same dynasty created later the myst of Newton,
to divert from Kepler and Leipnitz (after they moved from Venice to London).

I do, of course, take the position of Kepler.

The reason is a little strange. It's actually not because I'm German
(what I actually am). But former neighbours of me had the name 'Kepler'
and were the gran-grand-grand.. somethings of Johannes Kepler.

That always impressed me and was the actual reason, why I started to
have an interest in physics (long ago).

Sure, they haven't (most likely).

But how will you know, if something crappy gets 'deified'?

Heinrich Hertz was the physicist, who first used radio waves for
transmission.

Hertz was quoted by Einstein, but he did not write, which book of Hertz
he meant.

I found a possible source in 'Untersuchungen zur Ausbreitung der
elektrischen Kraft'.

Poincare wrote a book called 'Sur le dynamic de l'electron', which
Einstein apparently quoted.

That's basically the case of my youngest daughter, with the difference
that since she was 3 we have lived in a country that is not that of
either parent. She could speak English and Spanish when we arrived, and
picked up French very quickly. She is now (at the age of 39)

Friendst of me were from England and Chile, while the doughter only
spoke German in Germany.

It is actually the environment mainly, what dictates how kids speak.

This is quite astonishing for parents from other countries. But other
kids and media are also a source of language and that influence is
mainly in the local language spoken in that area.

This discussion, as is the case with all of yours, is becoming
increasingly stupid. The discussion has always been about your
calling Italian "THE national language" when it is, in fact and
deed, "A national language." And so you continue to argue off
point hopeful others will simply give up.

There is no requirement that a country have a national language, let
alone that there may only be one. Some countries do, some don't, and
Switzerland has several.

There isn't "one." There are several. See:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Languages_of_Switzerland

To continue, "In 2003, a new law defending the rights of indigenous
tongues declared that, given their historic value, 69 languages
(including Spanish) would be recognized as Mexico's official languages.

https://www.spanish55.com/blog/mexico-official-language

"According to the Federal Law on National Languages, the official
languages of Switzerland are German, French and Italian, as well as
Romansh in dealings with people who speak this language. Romansh is a
Rhaeto-Romance language with Latin roots and is widely spoken in the
canton of Graubünden."

https://www.swissinfo.ch/eng/languages/29177618

What do you call someone who speaks two languages? Bilingual.
What do you call someone who speaks three languages? Multilingual.
What do you call someone who speaks one language? American. That's you,
Starmaker, no?

Not unless they have a law that says so. I can't be bothered to look it
up.

> The official language in Switzerland is Italian.

You appear to have a significant problem with reading and comprehension,
even after I explained the basics to you. The web page you referenced
above states "Italian is an official language in Italy, Switzerland
(Ticino and the Grisons), San Marino, and Vatican City." This sentence is
an exact copy from the wikipedia web page. Just in case you don't
understand, "The official language in Switzerland is Italian" is stating
the factoid as being mutually exclusive whereas the web page you cited
does not do that. Are you actually *that* stupid? Based on many of your
postings that I have read it would appear you are.

> Heger said he didn't understand how albert einstein went to italy without knowing italian.
>
> I simply pointed out people in Germany spoke Italian also, and The official language in Switzerland is Italian.

The statement you keep repeating, "The official language in Switzerland
is Italian" is false. As several other articles make clear, "official"
languages in Switzerland are defined variously by law in applicable
regions. Did you know that the United States does not have an "official
language?" The expression "official language" means that a law says so.

> I'm sure people in Switzerland who spoke Italian also spoke German...to a point they made
> the official language in Switzerland Italian.

Such a conclusion is baseless. Read the Swiss laws, they are definitive,
your
baseless opinion is not.

> I didn't say it was the *only* official language in Switzerland.

Clearly you do not understand what you wrote. As you stated it, Italian
is the mutually exclusive official language. That's what "the" means as
you used it. I refer you to authorities such as Strunk and White. Since
you are using AmerEnglish to communicate you should know how the
language is used. It is obvious that you do not.

> The official language in Switzerland is Italian.
>
> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_language

That is not what the cited page says! Once again, are you actually that
stupid? Are you telling the readers here you do not know what the word
"the" means?

I know that it is common for New Yorkers to brag about that. Everyone is
from somewhere but that's no reason to brag.

It is a pretty accurate guess that they are not happy to see someone as
ignorant as you bandying their name about.

If you are going to continue to post nonsense to Usenet it would behoove
you to know just what that nonsense means.

Nope. Switzerland has four official languages. French, Italian, German
and Romansh.

> Heger said he didn't understand how albert einstein went to italy without knowing italian.

Nope. "The official language" implies there's only one official
language. "An official language" (or "one of the official languages")
implies there's more than one. There are four official languages in
Switzerland, so "The official language of Switzerland" is wrong.

> I didn't say it was the *only* official language in Switzerland.

Yes you did, by saying it was "The official language of Switzerland".

Additionally:

Generally I don't like to refer to dictionary definitions in Usenet, but

As far as I know, the Swiss have four official languages.

The main language is kind of German.

But Germans from Germany have actually difficulties to understand that
language, because the Swiss-Germans are very proud about their
independency from Germany and do all in their power, to make their
dialekt as different as possible to the Germany-German.

It is also very important to understand and speak that language, if you
want to relocate there, because otherwise Swiss people would regard you
as a tourist.

Yet another issue was, that the Einsteins lived next door to a Jesuit
facility in Pavia.

Albert lived in Pavia for a couple of years (according to the website of
the colledge, which now uses that location).

This is much longer than the couple of month, that he lived there
according to common narrative.

Einstein had apparently connections to the Jesuits, as we can see in his
relation to George le Maitre. So possibly these connections were tied in
Pavia across the garden fence (actually a wall).

He should also have spoken Italian and French fluently, as we can see in
Einstein's relations to Le Maitre, Michele Besso, Langvin or Marie
Curie. He also attended conferences, which were held in French.

Now the language combination: German, French, Italian would lead us to
Swizerland, because these are the languages spoken there (besides of
Romanic).

And, as a matter of fact, Einstein got Swiss citizenship (which was
always difficult to get).

What brings us to the question, whether or not Einstein was really born
in Germany and what evidence we have for this.
