There seems to be a problem with people in the 'scientific community'
haven't no idea what the 'so-called' "Dark Matter" is...

I have no problem explaining what Dark Matter is, ...but
not in terms that you can understand.

For one...it's dark.

Now, the difference between it being all dark, and it being dark and
stars is just an 'exact number'.

Above that number, it's all dark, no stars.

Below dat number, no stars. no dark.

That doesn't mean that above that 'exact number' the stars don't exist,
...just means it is no longer visible.

below dat number, it will be just a static grey looking universe. no
stars, no dark.

Dark matter doesn't exist... it doesn't work.

Now, here are some...'internet facts'?

According to the very first sentence in...wikipedia, it reads:
approximately 85% of the matter in the universe
"Dark matter is a hypothetical form of matter thought to account for
approximately 85% of the matter in the universe."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_matter

and, according to britannica.com:

Dark matter makes up 30.1 percent of the matter
https://www.britannica.com/science/dark-matter

30 percent and 80 percent are two big differences. One of them is lying.

Of course, it goes without saying between the two, wikipedia is the MOST UNTRUSTED source for any kind of information.

garbage in, garbage out, and garbage in again...that is the extent of your knowldege, the garbage that goes in.

Nope, both are correct.

As usual you didn't pay attention to the details, i.e. are you talking
mass, energy, both, or what.

The Subject Heading of this thread read: Dark Matter.

https://www.britannica.com/science/dark-matter reads: Dark Matter
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_matter reads: Dark Matter

I can understand your confusion...it's typical.

They both cannot be correct if the ...'numbers' differ...GREATLY.

And one more time...

Both are correct.

Are you talking mass, energy, both, or what?

Okay, first you need to understand the 'defitition' of Matter:

Learn to pronounce mat·ter
/'mad?r/
noun

physical substance in general, as distinct from mind and spirit; (in physics) that which occupies space and possesses rest mass, especially as distinct from energy.

"especially as distinct from energy.".

also you need to unsratand the defintion for

dis·tinct
/d?'stiNG(k)t/
adjective

recognizably different in nature from something else

When you keep repeating the same thing, but expect different results...

Ohhh, I get it now! It's the word "Dark" dat bothers you. Are you one of those...dark people? Darker than blue?

Dark is Beautiful! Dark Lives Matter.

You know, when I tell another guy "Slap me Five!" and I hold out my hand so that
he can slap me five...I quickly flip my hand to the otherside and tell him..."On the Nigger side!!!!"

Now, according to wikipedia...85% of the matter in the universe is dark
matter, and
dark energy contributes 68% of the total energy in the present-day
observable universe.

When you total dark matter and dark energy, dats equals 153 percent! Dat
means here is more dark energy and dark mater then there is a universe.

Where is the other 53 percent located at????
