The word "visible" explains nothing.

If Bob is in a _swap-end cell_
then not all swaps are swapped.

That is contrapositive to
| If not( not all swaps are swapped)
| then not(Bob is in a swap-end cell)

If all swaps are swapped
the Bob is not in a swap-end cell.

Is Bob somewhere a swap doesn't end?
How would he have gotten there?

You, WM, call the loss of Bob
in a 1-ended sequence of lossless swaps
"magic" and even less complimentary things.

However,
we see that,
in order for Bob to NOT-disappear,
he must magically poof himself
to some non-swap-end location.
He can't have swapped himself there.
It's not a swap-end.

The explanation can't be dark cells
or dark swaps.
All these cells and swaps are
finitely-accessible, are _visible_

The explanation is that
1x1 1-ended is not
reallyreallyreallyreallyreallyreally large
1x1 2-ended.

They behave differently.
The conservation of Bobs,
taken for granted in 1x1 2-endeds,
is not present in 1x1 1-endeds.

That is the moral of Hilbert's Hotel,
the moral of The Disappearing Bob.
