#78389 — internal temps

Is there a significant difference between the internal temps of entry level iMacs and Powermacs? I was wondering that if there is a significant temp difference then should that be a factor influencing my next purchase because IMHO a higher internal temp would be correlated with reliability?

You're not comparing apples to apples. IMO, the iMac and laptop are two
different designs with different heat specs and dissipation. It's like
you're comparing horsepower and torque output of a Prius vs. a Tesla.
They're not the same.

The guy may never see your reply. This isn't the first time he' asked
this question.

Consider the source (Google Groups).

This is why I often ignore posts from Google Groups. "Frank" already
asked this question on July 28, got three responses, and here is he
asking the same question yet again. DUH!
