No, but when they fail, and they will, you'll need to replace the
enclosures to use larger drives anyway.

Nice.  As I said, I gave up on FW around 6 years ago.  There was no
reason to keep using it.  Why have you?  Aren't they still more
expensive?

I want spoken natural language recognition, and I want it NOW!  But
programming that way might be a bit silly.

Agreed, that's why I'm doing it now.  My system had gotten too slow
(important), and it can't be upgraded to macOS Sierra (not necessarily
as important).
