There are some web pages that take forever to load in Safari (and that 
take no time to load in Firefox).  For example, if I click on the link 
below (BBC's story on Oregon's caves), Safari freezes for almost five 
minutes:

Activity Monitor reports that Safari is using 100% of CPU and not 
responding.  This same link loads instantaneously in Firefox.  Does 
anyone know what's happening with Safari?

Using 2010 17" MacBookPro, 8GB RAM, Safari 8.0.8
