This is what I see when I look at the Memory panel in Activity Monitor: <http://i61.tinypic.com/m8n51f.png> Notice there is no number in the Memory Pressure area. I suspect your "4.77 gigs" figure came from one of the statistics tot he right of the Memory Pressure display. Without knowing which one, and what the others say, the 4.77 gig figure is not very useful. ; ) BTW, while you were in Activity Monitor, did you check to see what the CPU process listing showed for the Unison process? My bet is it was stalled / unresponsive. If that were the case simply force-quitting (you know how to do that, right?)
