On my computer, Adobe Reader is in Applications/Local-A/Adobe Software. The plug-in finds the reader with no problem. On my wife's computer, same release of everything, the reader must be in Applications or it won't find it automatically. If you select it from the sub-directory, Safari remembers that is where it was but it won't open it automatically. You have to select it. Why? I must have set something on my computer years ago, but I can't remember what.
