I keep my accounts in Excel, and do the processing with a bunch of 
macros I wrote.

Years ago I tried exporting to Quicken via QIF; but I found that if you 
had two transactions for the same amount on the same day without a 
cheque number (e.g. two cash withdrawals for the same amount), it 
considered them the same transaction.

So that was that.

I'd be interested to know if they've fixed the bug, though.
