In response to your original corrections, Davoud's response was, in 
its entirety:

"Your points are well taken. I'll revisit the design of these pages 
when
I get some spare time."

And then he did change the background though he has so far retained 
the horizontals.

I commented that I thought the meaning of the horizontals was 
obvious, which caused you to insult not only me but Davoud, who had 
thus far responded to you only as quoted above. Here is a small part
of what you said about him:

"Never mind that the designer has no real clue what he is doing in 
mark up and css, the right body "border" going AWL, this is a 
*really* bad page in too many ways."

That was gratuitous and is what initiated the flame war between you 
and Davoud, in the couse of which you said this barefaced lie:

"I made a mild criticism that 
should have been useful to you to improve your page. Instead, you 
got all super sensitive and displayed great ignorance."

His actual, mild reaction was what I quoted above.

One final quotation from you:

"I looked a couple of times because it is part of what I do to 
look at web pages and see if there are any that have instructive 
design faults."

That "it it part of what [you] do" doesn't mean that you do it well.
