I voted for the Sinclair ZX81 due to its low IC count -- only 4 or 5 (depending on RAM-type). The keyboard reminds of modern multitouch screens on mobile devices and there is an emulator for Android: <http://www.appbrain.com/app/zed-ex-(beta)/org.helllabs.android.zx81>. The ZX81 was also the cheapest of the classic computers. I have an Apple II Europlus but I don't think the probably resistive keyboard is that good. You have to strike the keys hard in order to type. Mine stood in a damp unheated garage for many years and that might have affected the keyboard. It also has lots of ICs that could break. There was also the Luxor ABC 80 that had a very good capacitive keyboard <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ABC_80>. Quite a few chips there as well. I also have the Commodore 64 and it works well and is interesting to use with COMAL cartridge.
