Hmmm.... Well, my intent was to remove both the comment start and dib 
start, but maybe it ain't working. All I really did last night was 
confirm there was a different md5.

Obviously if the drivers aren't exactly the same then the md5 should be 
different. If they are the same, then the md5s should be the same.

I have a distinct impression that I am not thinking about this 
properly. I'm going to take a breather and disable the md5 generation 
until I can find some time to work on it more throughly.
