I do something similar...

1.  Install osclid on the remote machine so commands can be run remotely.
    I use the one from Frank de Bruijn http://www.aconet.nl/tools/
2.  Create a local Basic file Shutdown in RAMdisc containing
        SYS "TaskManager_Shutdown"
3.  Share RAMdisc as IyoRam
4.  Run a local obey file containing
        roscli -wimp RiscPC Filer_Run Share::IyoRam.$.Shutdown
    where RiscPC is the remote machine name

The Basic program could be on the remote machine.

There may be simpler ways!
