Pic_Index relies upon:

        The JPEG Group's jpegtran and rdjpgcom, intergif, png2spr, and the
two utilities imgsize and spravg2 written by Rick Murray specially and
exclusively for Pic_Index.

It also uses the utilities SetOSVer and TestAlt, the latter only being used
to start up in a debug mode where logging is extended.

I suggest that each of these utilities can be tested on the BB individually
to find which are incompatible.

The bespoke utilities Rick contributed could be tested by examining the
BASIC calling them now the BASIC is available un-encrypted. Or, I'm sure if
Rick was informed of the peculiar requirements of the BB, he would
recompile the sources accordingly.

I would be happy to host a BB-compatible version on my site in place of the
version currently there.
