Unfortunately, AFAIU, one cannot add *L functions to FAT32 via a simple hack: FAT32 volumes may contain FILES between 2GB and 4GB in size, and these added entry points MUST ALSO support these files. So one would need a lot of testing to check that the added entry points do not affect operation on ordinary files in negative way. And since the interaction of functions with *L with the kernel is (?) undocumented, this take some effort....
