Also check his smart tv (if he has one) & if it's running Linux he'd better get rid of it & get a windows one *if* he can. He'd better check what servers his ISP is running too, windows or Linux? If he flies, he'd better check what avionics the plane is using, & refuse to board if it's *not* running windows! Also safety-critical systems, such as the head-down primary guidance flight displays (which use safety-certifiable RTOS such as VxWorks/Cert and VxWorks 653 and others); and non-critical systems (a.k.a. mission critical systems), which include secondary guidance systems such as digital map display (such as TARDIS) and Head-Up Displays (HUD), which although they do not have an RTCA DO-178B safety certification requirement today, this could possibly be mandated in the future. The increasing adoption of Linux in A&D for mission-critical enterprise and embedded applications in recent times, for example RSTA-MEP and the Linux Crewstation & Boeing P-8A Multi-Mission Aircraft (Linux Sys-Con) respectively. And he can't fly Airbus aircraft, they use SELinux & various Linux avionics too. He goes by train? It's quite likely the railroad companies use RHEL or SLES in their mission-critical control & data center services. It seems he uses iOS cellphone, well he'd better make sure his telecomms provider isn't using Carrier Grade Telecomms Linux (CGL). He drives a car? Well unless it's that Ford car windows system that you mentioned, he'd better ensure his vehicle isn't using AGL (Auto Grade Linux) in its onboard computer, which is installed in Honda, Mazda, Suzuki, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Subaru, GM, VW, Jaguar Land Rover, & also AGL is being studied by Ford for Installation in their vehicles. The *only* place where M$ windoze dominates is on the desktop, & as I said in the *overall* world of computing, M$ is a bit player.
