Good question! The reason they should is to ensure that their product is as
usable as possible and works well. Of course, the new tabbing features are
things they have not had a chance to work with much, but presumably over
time they will make sure they work better on the newer Mac systems.

So, thankfully, the LO team is aware of it and understand it is wrong. They
will likely fix it relatively quickly. One of the good things about open
source software is you often can not only submit such bugs but see if the
development team is taking the issue seriously.

I prefer developers who work to handle things above the lowest common
denominator of environments, but if that is what you are interested in then
you can focus there. To each their own.

Why would you want LibreOffice on Linux to be limited to what is available
on Windows and Mac? I find it a hard thing to understand.

Personal attacks from those who troll show their own insecurity. They cannot
use reason to show the message to be wrong so they try to feel somehow
superior by attacking the messenger.
They cling to their attacks and ignore the message time and time again.
