If there are they are doing  it through Republican politicians via the
various "Religious Freedom Protection/Restoration" laws past and/or pending
in several US states.  Seems very similar to all those "Defense of
Marriage" laws enacted not long ago and mostly toppled over, as these laws
soon will be.  Inclusion usually wins in the end.
