The finite approaches are limited, though, for example they might not work well for some words, such as "quatre-vingt" in French, which you might not want translated as "four-twenty" in English. Sorry, I'm not aware of any free code, but does Google Translate have a Web service? If so, do they charge for it? -- Lew
