You are mistaken. I'll explain further if you ask me for my help.
I will not simply correct your errors in this followup, because
experience indicates that it won't do any good, and you'll continue
to make the same or similar misleading statements.
Your article (the one to which I'm now replying) contains numerous
errors, misconceptions, and misleading statements. I'm willing
to take the time to go through it and respond, point by point, but
only if you ask for my help *and* express a willingness to take my
remarks seriously. That doesn't mean you have to agree with me,
of course.
I would prefer to do so by e-mail, since I would be discussing
things that most people here already know and this thread has, in
my opinion, taken up too much of comp.lang.c's bandwidth already.
(I accept much of the responsibility for that.)
You can either post a followup to this article asking for my help,
or you can e-mail me.
I don't expect you to do so, but I'm willing to be surprised.
