I appreciated your contribution.., enough that I thoroughly checked it 
out. Thanks for your efforts...

MacAddresses can be changed, and so doesn't meet my criteria.

As for it getting *most* of the info I want, I didn't see very much of 
that info everywhere else I looked. Also, I don't have any problems 
using WMI. It's just that everyone else was suggesting there's other 
ways to get the info but nothing suggested thus far provides it.<g>

Mayayana maybe be on to something worth pursuing!
