  I have no experience with networked computers, so I
can't offer any help with that. My impression is that it's
all down to the creation line, but I'm not sure. On my
PC I can use this in VBS:

Set WMI = GetObject("WinMgmts:")

  I think one can do the same on a remote PC named
PC2 with this:

Set WMI = GetObject("WinMgmts:\\PC2")

or

Set WMI = GetObject("WinMgmts:\\192.168.1.50")

But I've never tried anything like that. I just know
it from the docs.
